(2) Information We Collect from Other Sources

Whitepolar has the facility to link the data you provide to us with other publicly available information about you that you have published on the internet, which may include sources such as LinkedIn and other social media profiles.

Whitepolar searches various databases – some publicly available and others not, which may include your data (include your CV or Resumé) to find possible candidates and help them get placed.

We may receive your data from a third party who recommends you as a candidate searching for a job in the US.

Uses Made of Your Information

(1) Lawful basis for processing

We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your data. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper placement of the candidate.

(2) Purposes of processing

We use your information in the following ways:

  • To consider your application in respect of a role for which we have applied for you.
  • To recognize your application in respect of other job requirements matching your expectations.
  • To communicate with you with regards to your recruitment process.
  • To enhance any information obtained from you with information obtained from third-party data providers.
  • To help you get placed in the best job openings based on your requirement.

(3) Automated decision-making/profiling

We may use Whitepolar technology to assist candidates to get placed in roles identified by them. Our job-hunting process requires the application of profiles on different portals, scheduling interviews with companies, and preparing these candidates to get placed in their dream roles at the earliest.

(4) Disclosure of Your Information

We can share your information with other third parties in the below cases

  • If we get reorganized or we sell our ownership, then all the data will automatically be transferred to the new buyer, who will carry on further to offer you all the required services.
  • If we plan to sell or reassign our business partially to a new buyer, then the information will be automatically transferred to them maintaining the required criteria of confidentiality.
  • If we are in some legal claim, then your information will have to be shared to defend our claims.
  • In case we are asked by any regulatory authorities to share your personal information in any special legal situation.
